PM®, USA offers Web-based Online CAPM® Exam Prep Course
aligned to the New PMBOK® Guide- 5 th Edition. No Travel /
No Leave required. It is ideal for CAPM® aspirants who are
comfortable with self-study and do not have enough time to attend
regular CAPM® classroom sessions. You can access this course
for 3 months on 24x7 basis. This course fulfills the new mandatory requirement of PMI® for
23 hrs of training in Project Management, before any one applies for the
CAPM® exam.
Eligibility
Requirements:
Candidates must
have a high school diploma or equivalent and have achieved either 1,500
hours of experience working on a project team, or completed 23 contact
hours of formal project management education, where one contact hour is
equivalent to one actual hour of training or instruction received.
Candidates may satisfy the education requirement by successfully
completing courses and/or workshops such as those offered by PMI’s
Registered Education Providers (R.E.P.s). Applicants are not required
to be PMI® members to list CAPM® in their curriculum vitae or on their
business card. The credential is valid for five years. Candidates
must retest at the close of every five-year period to retain their
credential.
Preparing for the Examination:
The CAPM®
test is a 150
question multiple-choice exam with a three-hour time limit. Candidates
must demonstrate their knowledge of project management terms in
context, as covered by the five Project Management Process Groups and
nine Knowledge Areas, and described in the New PMBOK®
Guide
- Fifth Edition.
Taking the Examination:
The test is offered via computer at
the same global locations that provide CAPM® Exam testing

Study Mode Test
IIPM strongly recommends to take the study mode tests to reinforce
the learning and improve the chances of success. In study mode tests,
one can view the answers and practice questions from study areas.
Simulated Mock Exams
Participants can take any number of such mock tests. Each test
contains 100 questions and should be completed within 3 hours. Exiting
before completing all the 100 questions will cancel the total test and
will not be counted towards the final score and Contact Hours/
Study hours credit (2 hours).
